Two years ago today, I decided to begin sharing my triathlon journey by starting a website and blogging every day. It has been a fun two years, since I made that first post.
I think that I have only missed posting on two or three days, during the past two years. I know I missed a day when we had no power and I had no internet. I can’t remember the other times I missed, but that is because I am proud of all the posts that I have made.
My blog is an excellent metaphor for triathlon. The key to triathlon training is consistency. If nothing else, I have been consistent with my blog. I have tried to share the good days and the bad days. I have hopefully, also provided a few good tips along the way.
I don’t have a huge number of people reading my blog, but I am grateful to all of you who do read it. I would love to hear your feedback on the past two years. Maybe you have some suggestions on how I could change things up. Is there anything you would like to know more about?
I have two goals for the next year…
- To continue blogging every day… my next milestone will be post number 1,000.
- To figure out how to reach more people. I am no social media expert, and don’t know how to promote my website to more people. I want to learn how to do that.
With that said, thanks for your support these last two years. It has been a blast….
