As mentioned earlier this week, I am in Chattanooga helping coach at the C26 Triathlon Technical camp. The event kicked off with a meet and greet at the C26 Hub this evening.
There are eighteen athletes in town and all are eagerly anticipating the next three and half days. Tomorrow we are focusing on swimming and running. The photo above is coach Robbie Bruce, introducing everyone to the endless pool.
While in town, I am going to try and continue training as best I can. This evening, after we finished up at the Hub, I went for an easy 45 minute run, with coach Mike Tarrolly and one of the athletes, who we both know well. For me the run was very hot and humid. I could definitely tell I was not in Pittsburgh…
Short blog today, as I have to be up early for the first full day of the camp. The C26 Triathlon Technical camp is heavy on instruction. I will be giving a talk on overcoming anxiety and panic attacks while open water swimming. This is something that I have experienced and overcome myself. I really hope that by sharing my experience and providing guidance, I can help others do the same.
