The weather today was unusually nice. It was a very warm December day, and I thoroughly enjoyed doing my run workout at the local park. I ran in shorts and worked up quite a sweat.
I did my run workout at the local park, because it is a much nicer place to run that doing it in my neighborhood. My run was fifty minutes long, with a 30 second sprint every five minutes. I am not sure how it happened, but it seemed like every time I needed to sprint, I was on an uphill section of my route. That made the sprints hard, but also meant they were doing me a lot of good.
As mentioned in my blog yesterday, a slight ear infection kept me out of the pool today. The ear feels much better today, but still isn’t fully healed. Hopefully, it will be all fixed in time for my next swim, which is scheduled for Friday.
I did do the weightlifting test that I planned. I chose to focus on just one lift. That lift was the hex bar deadlift and achieved my highest test results. I was pleased to see that I am getting stronger, but my legs are feeling it this evening.
It looks like we are in for another warm December day tomorrow. The only problem is that it is forecasted to rain quite a bit. I still may run outside however. I want to take advantage of the warmth, before it gets cold again.
