Something fun arrived in the mail today.  It was my new C26 Triathlon race kit, that was custom made by Zoot.  It looks great, fits perfectly and feels very comfortable.

I haven’t bought a new triathlon race kit for more than two years.  This is mostly because I really like wearing my existing race kit, that was made by Wattie Ink.  That kit has served me very well, and is still in good condition.  I just thought it was time to add a second kit to my collection.

Like my previous race kits, this one is a full sleeve, one piece suit.  Although one piece suits are a challenge for bathroom breaks, I find them way more comfortable than two piece suits. There is no pinching at the waist and they hold the chamois in place better, like cycling bib shorts do.

I will try out this new gear on my next long ride.  I need to know if it is going to stay feeling comfortable, during longer races.  While I don’t expect any issues, if the kit does cause a problem, I don’t want to find out about that problem during a race.  Assuming everything is OK, I will probably wear this gear at my next race, in five weeks time.

How many different race kits do you have?  I have a feeling that I don’t have that many, compared to some people!!
