It is the time of year when most people make ‘New Year’s Resolutions”. Over the years, I have done this myself many times, and to be honest, I typically fail within a week or two.
Today was the last day of my Holiday break from work. It was a time to reflect on the past year, but mostly a time to look forward. I thought of lots of things that I want to achieve this year. I could have made a list of at least a dozen ‘resolutions’.
In the end, I have decided to focus on just one thing. I came to the conclusion, that if I can successfully master this one thing, then there is a very good chance, that I can also achieve many of the goals that I considered throughout the day.
So my focus for the upcoming year, will be time management. Time is the one thing that you cannot get more of. Time cannot be bought. Time is easily wasted. I am sure there are going to occasions when I fail at my goal, but if I consciously think about it every day, then I think I can get better.
What have you resolved to improve in 2021? I’m curious to understand your goals and how you arrived at them.
