As mentioned in my blog yesterday, I am planning to run the Malvern Hills from end-to-end this week. Having considered the weather, I have decided that I will tackle this trail run tomorrow.
It is forecast to be in the high 40’s / low 50’s ‘F for my run, with almost zero chance of rain. Visibility from the hills should be perfect and will make for some great views. I remember seeing for miles, when we walked on these hills, when I was a kid.
I have been eating well today, to make sure I have plenty of energy for my run. That ended with spaghetti bolognese for dinner this evening. I will have large breakfast tomorrow morning, before starting my run about mid-morning.
I honestly have no idea how my end-to-end run will go. I have not done any scouting runs to gauge the severity of the climbs and descents. I am relying on my memory from over twenty years ago. Hopefully the hills are as manageable as I remember. That way I should be able to beat my goal of completing the run in under three hours.
