Thanksgiving week can be a challenging week, when it comes to working out. There is a lot going on, and celebrations make it easy to convince yourself to skip a workout. I am therefore very pleased to have put in a solid week of training on the bike.
Throughout the week, I have ridden a total of six hours, and a good percentage of that riding has involved some hard intervals. My legs are a little tired as I write this blog, but it is that good feeling you get when you know things are improving.
I plan to ride another six hours next week and will also add in a few runs. My injuries are fully healed and it is time to get my run shoes on again. The extra work will also help me burn off the calories from this week.
Not much else to report today. I had a solid week and feel ready for a bigger one coming up.
